Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

1. About us

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts between Regency Home Improvements ("we", "us", "our") and you ("the customer") for the supply and installation of home improvement products including windows, doors, conservatories, fascias, soffits, guttering and garden rooms.

Regency Home Improvements operates from Grange Farm, Northbourne Road, Great Mongeham, Deal, Kent, CT14 0HD. You can contact us at info@regency-home.co.uk or on 01304 371 517.

2. Quotations

All quotations are free, written and provided without obligation. Quotations remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices quoted are inclusive of all labour, materials and VAT (where applicable) unless specifically stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to revise a quotation if site conditions differ materially from those assessed at the time of survey, or if you request changes to the specification after the quotation has been issued.

3. Forming a contract

A binding contract is formed when you accept our written quotation in writing (including by email or signed acceptance) and we confirm acceptance of your order. No contract exists until both parties have confirmed agreement in writing.

4. Your right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you are a consumer and the contract is concluded away from our business premises (for example at your home), you have the right to cancel without giving any reason within 14 calendar days of the date the contract is formed.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us clearly in writing (by letter or email to info@regency-home.co.uk) before the 14-day period has expired. If you cancel within this period and have not requested that work begin immediately, you will receive a full refund of any deposit paid within 14 days.

If you request that work starts within the 14-day cooling-off period and you then cancel, you may be liable to pay for any work carried out up to the point of cancellation.

Once the 14-day period has passed, cancellation may be subject to reasonable costs incurred by us, including materials ordered to your specification.

5. Deposits and payment

We may require a deposit on acceptance of your order. The balance is due on completion of the installation unless alternative payment terms have been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed in your quotation.

If payment is not received by the agreed due date, we reserve the right to charge interest at the statutory rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and to recover reasonable debt collection costs.

6. Installation

We will agree an estimated installation date with you. Dates given are estimates and may be subject to change due to manufacturing lead times, weather conditions or other factors outside our reasonable control. We will notify you as soon as possible of any significant delays.

You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property and that the installation area is clear and safe. Any delays caused by failure to provide access may result in additional charges.

7. FENSA and building regulations

We are a FENSA-registered installer. All replacement window and door installations carried out by us will be notified to the relevant local authority through FENSA, and you will receive a FENSA certificate confirming compliance with building regulations. This certificate is important for insurance purposes and when selling your property.

8. Guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for a period of 10 years from the date of installation. Product guarantees vary by manufacturer and will be detailed in your quotation or installation paperwork. Our workmanship guarantee does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accident, neglect or third-party interference
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage resulting from structural movement of the building
  • Cosmetic issues that do not affect function or performance

To make a claim under our guarantee, please contact us at info@regency-home.co.uk with a description of the issue and your installation details.

9. Liability

We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with any contract shall not exceed the price paid by you under that contract.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or economic losses, loss of profit or loss of opportunity.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our products or workmanship, please contact us in the first instance at info@regency-home.co.uk or on 01304 371 517. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 28 days.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer disputes relating to FENSA-registered glazing work to FENSA's consumer protection scheme. Details are available at fensa.org.uk.

11. Data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Any changes will apply to new contracts entered into after the date of revision.
